Working towards a flatter tummy part 2

Yes I’m back to blogging! I’ve been in the middle of moving from one country to another so I was too busy to blog. I also didn’t do any exercise and I was eating a lot for a while so I packed on a few pounds. Anyways, I finally resumed exercising 2 weeks ago. I/ve also been using a diastasis rehab splint on my tummy at least 8 hours a day. I was working out twice a day 5 days a week and I lost about 4 pounds and dropped 2 inches off my waist!! Yay! I was ecstatic! In addition, I’ve stayed off sweetened soda drinks, malt drinks, beef and all processed grains. I still eat yams, sweet potatoes, garri and brown rice though. I do the occasional pasta too. I’ve been taking soups, stews, protein/fruit smoothies, breakfast cereals, ,milk and lots of chicken and fish.
This week, I have to drop the workouts to once a week because I have to meet a 31st March assignment deadline for school and I need to spend more time working on this. I’m very happy about my progress and I’ll post some pictures soon.

I don't know if they do directly but I stick to those with whole grains like special K, Honey bunches of oats. Whole grains are good for your waist size. In addition, I like cereals because I can measure and control my portions. I guess this is what leads to the weight loss! Thanks for stopping by!

How about kellogs fruits and fibres.. im struggling with my weight too. I weighed 81kilos just before my baby was born and i've lost just 7kgs 8months later.. I just kept on piling on weight while breastfeeding.. only managed to lose some after 6months postpreg. I read somewhere dat some women dont lose so much while breastfeeding so maybe im one of them but my waistline still like 34' and i really worried about that.. any tip for me..

Kellogs fruit and fibre is good because it has some whole wheat which is better than refined wheat. I know what you mean by you being unable to lose weight while breastfeeding. It's been happening to me too but once you're done breastfeeding, it'll be easier. Not withstanding, things you can do are to cut out as much refined carbohydrates as possible: white rice, white bread. Opt for whole wheat bread and brown rice. Avoid watermelons and pineapples. Take more of salads and other vegetables. Sweet potatoes are also good. Fruits are good. Above all, vigorous exercise is very important. Do you exercise?
