Today’s Flexirod Set (no heat)

I love Ebony Princess flexirod sets: they’re the best I’ve seen online. I can never seem to get mine looking that good. I’ve tried them on wet hair but they always come out messy so I now do them on my freshly moisturized air dried hair using 3-5 flexirods.

For today’s style, first, I sprayed my hair with some water. To get some hold, I used 2 pumps of Avlon Keracare Foam Wrap-Set Lotion then I applied Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter Moisturizer. Next, I rolled my hair using 5 Purple Twist-Flex Rods (7/8 inches). I tied my satin pocket bonnet and went to bed with the flexirods and it didn’t feel uncomfortable at all. I took them out this morning, rubbed some oil into my palms and finger combed through to loosen the curls. [I oil my hands to reduce frizz and use only a little so that it doesn’t weight down my hair]. This is how it looked:

I have a video on how I do them using 3 flexirods. Watch it by clicking HERE.

Will keep working on getting them looking better or maybe try Curlformers! Have a nice evening everyone!

Wao, you did a good job! Did it last the whole day? I can’t seem to really get it right, dry or wet hair. I will try your method. I have no choice. Using flexirods is faster than magnetic rollers but like hair bloggers advise, practise does make perfect, and I’m improving on all sides.

Yes it lasted the whole day cos’ I used the wrap lotion for hold. If you try this and it works, send me some pics and let me know. Tk care. Make sure you use some sort of setting lotion to get that hold.

Wow, this is gorgeous! I can’t believe you did that with just 5 flexirods. *taking notes*
