Planning for 2013: My resolutions PLUS 2012 Scoresheet

Hi guys! Today is the last day of 2012. I can’t believe it!!

31st december new year resolutionsI’m so grateful to God for taking me to the end of the year. I wish all my readers a prosperous and blessed New year in advance!

In 2012, my beauty resolutions were to

  1. Lose 20 pounds. I lost 11 pounds. I started the year at 78 kg (171.6 pounds) and I’m 73 kg (160.6 pounds) now. I should have lost more but I was just lazy!
  2. Achieve  a waist of 28 inches. My waistline was 38 inches at the beginning of this year. It now ranges from 33 inches to 35 inches depending on what I eat.
  3. Grow my hair to MBL (midback length). I wish! My hair is just hovering at BSL (brastrap length).
  4. Increase thickness in my hair. I think I achieved that to an extent by staying away from regular blow drying and flat ironing. I flat ironed my hair twice this year.
  5. Fade spots from my facial skin. I did this to some extent: still have a few spots but they are not too bad.
  6. Wash my face every nightI think I must have missed out on washing my face on very few occasions. So I give myself a pass on that.

Now, what are my resolutions for 2013?

  4. Achieve a waist of 28 inches (still gunning for that!)
  5. Go to bed before 11pm everyday except on days that I’m on call
  6. Join my church choir
  7. Stay away from flat ironing my hair completely

HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE AND SEE YOU GUYS ON THE OTHER SIDE BY GOD’S GRACE!!

  2. What’s your method for the waist line reduction? I’ve gone from 29 to 32 -34 and I hate it. I want at least 25. Well, if a baby doesn’t pop in lol.

Thank you very much.Since I started following your blog I have learnt a lot and for the fact that am in this part of the world you blog has been so help full thank you I have been able to buy product from eBay and most of them are your recommendation thank you once again.one thing I want to ask is what is the different between hair steamer and heating cap?

I’m glad that I have been on help: I thank God! Happy to hear that you were able to buy those products I recommended. One major difference between a hair steamer and a heating cap is that the former produces wet heat/steam while the latter produces dry heat. A hair steamer is an electrical equipment that you sit underneath just like a standing hair dryer and it produces steam which heats up your hair. A heating cap on the other hand can either be electrical or just made up of cloth which contains heating gels. If it is electrical, you will have to plug it into the wall and it heats up your hair. If it’s a cloth with gel packs, you will need to heat up the gel packs in the microwave or in a pot with boiling water. Then you wear the cap on your head and it will also produce heat.
I hope I’ve helped clarify things?

  5. […] I did a checklist of my 2012 resolutions and discussed some of my 2013 resolutions. In line with that, I have decided to have 4  focused ‘programs’ to achieve my 4 major […]
