Month 1 update – #sizzellehairlinechallenge

This video is just to give you guys a quick update on what I have been doing for the hairline challenge.
- At night, I have been moisturising my hairline with Jessicurl Too Shea Extra Moisturizing conditioner. I have been sealing with an essential oil mix {Jojoba oil + lavender oil + cedar wood oil + thyme oil + rosemary oil + tea tree oil + peppermint oil}. I also massage this oil mix onto the rest of my scalp.
- In the morning, I cleanse my hairline with a mixture of apple cider vinegar and aloe vera. I only moisturise in the morning but don’t apply any oil because I don’t like my hairline oily during the day.
- For daytime styling, I don’t do tight buns. In fact, I mostly leave my hair hanging out because I don’t want any tension on my hairline.
- At bed time, after moisturising and sealing, I either do bantu knots or put my hair in a loose low bun. I don’t use hair bonnets: only scarves and I don’t make them tight. I do however sleep on a satin scarf at night.
You can follow the links to purchase any of the products from our Sizzelle store. We don’t stock the Jessicurl conditioner in our shop but you can purchase it from Olori.com.ng if you want it. If you have any questions, leave a comment and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
