Foods rich in MSM

Hi everyone. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to start taking joint supplements. Not that I have any joint issues but since I do a lot of high impact exercise, I am taking them as a precautionary measure. When I read the ingredients of the bottle I bought, I learnt that it also contained MSM. YAY! An added hair benefit for me! I have talked about the benefits of MSM for the hair. You can read that HERE and HERE.

If you are not a supplement kind of person, you can also look out for foods which contain MSM. Here is a non-exhaustive list:

  1. Raw tomatoes,image
  2. Coffee,
  3. Tea,
  4. Swiss chard,
  5. Alfalfa sprouts,
  6. Corn,
  7. Apples,
  8. Raspberries, and
  9. Cow’s milk.

* When buying joint supplements, look out for chondroitin sulphate AND glucosamine sulphate amongst the ingredients. I usually recommend the brand, Move Free Joint supplements, to persons I know having joint issues and they have all come back to me that they had relief from their pain. If you live in Lagos, you can purchase them at HealthPlus or MedPlus pharmacies.

Tomorrow, I will list out foods containing biotin. Take care dearies!
