Backstage hair diaries #4 – A baggy and a blowdry :)

The Backstage Hair Diaries is an attempt to document my journey to find a hair regimen that suits me. I am looking for a regimen that pleases me with regards to aesthetics, hair thickness, hair length and ease. I don’t mind being experimental with my hair until I find something that works.
This ‘baggy-blowdry’ day was done on 11th October, 2015

1. Sprayed my scalp with Puresentiel Anti Hair Loss Treatment Serum (this is a recent buy).

2. Applied a generous amount of Shescentit Green Tea Coconut Milk to my strands. This hair moisturizer contains hydrolyzed wheat protein.

3. Dampened my hair with Belnuovo Coco Castor Nectar Spray. This hair moisturizer also contains hydrolyzed wheat protein.

4. Wore 3 shower caps over my hair to really trap in the moisture.

5. I wore my heating cap for 30 minutes only. I had to go out so I was’t able to continue with my regimen immediately. Tied a scarf to look presentable. 🙂

6. Sealed with castor oil when I took off the shower cap.

7. Blow dry using a comb attachment and cold air. This usually takes me about 45 minutes to an hour. Sprayed each section with Shescentit moisture mist prior to blowdrying. I experienced a little more hair breakage than my last blow-dry. I no longer use the comb attachment for every blow dry but the tension method as I stated above.

8. To keep the roots stretched, I put some rollers on my hair after blow drying each section. Left it in for about an hour before taking it off.

Hello dear please iam on protective styling now intend to leave my hair that way for month as I would be away traveling I would like to know if lusters s curl ‘no drip’ is a good moisturizer which I can easily spary then seal with which ever oil I choose to carry along the weather is kinda harsh now hamttan I noticed glycerin as the second ingredient for. S curl and I read glycerin draws moisture from the air and the weather is dry now so is it still okay? Or it’s better I find another moisturizers that won’t end up drying out my hair ?
