Wash day and cornrow redo

I had these cornrows in for 4 weeks and I was following my wig regimen…..although not very strictly. 🙈

Wash day started by deep conditioning the cornrows with Pura Body Naturals Chocolate smoothie. I shampooed twice with Kurlee Belle Almond & Shea butter shampoo. After undoing the cornrows, I was left with a braid out.

The next day, I detangled my hair and had the cornrows redone. The breakage was a bit more than I expected it to be. I am planning to clarify my hair and do a protein treatment when I undo these current cornrows.

How is your hair doing? I’ll be back with a new post on the 20th of March same time.

I have lots of breakage when I wash my hair in twists. Maybe keep them for two weeks and detangle and wash hair then re-braid.
