Cornrow take down and wash day!

I took down my cornrows after only 17 days because I had this uncanny feeling that the weight of the extensions used for the style was pulling on my edges.
I undid each cornrow and used Shea Moisture yucca and plantain anti-breakage strengthening styling milk to detangle and comb through each section.
Shampoo: Kurlee Belle Almond & Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo. I got my first bottle of this shampoo from my online store, Sizzelle, but due to logistic issues, I resorted to purchasing this bottle from a third-party seller on Amazon. The Kurlee Belle company on Amazon only ships to the U. S. From the minute I received it, I had the impression that it was a fake and when I used it, my suspicions were 80% confirmed. My hair felt very stripped which is so unlike my usual results from this shampoo.
Condition/Detangle: I reached for the Herbal Essences Naked cleansing conditioner to restore some softness to my hair. Thank goodness that this conditioner has above average slip so my hair felt a bit better afterwards.
Deep condition: Nexxus Humectress Replenishing System Masque with caviar protein. Using this protein-based deep conditioner left my hair feeling strengthened and the breakage which I had noticed during shampooing and conditioning reduced.
Leave-ins: Not Your Mother’s In A Heartbeat Blow Dry Accelerator Spray. The spray nozzle developed a fault and this really upset me. Shu Uemura Art of Hair Wonder Worker.
Drying and styling: Blow dried my hair using the Revlon One Step Ionic Hair Dryer and Styler and proceeded to straighten my hair with ACEVIVI Anion Straightener Hair Comb at 375°C and then I reduced the temperature to 355°C. The results were that my hair looked like I had a blow out and by evening, the hair had started frizzing up. Next time, I will stick to 375°C and see if I get better results.

Wow, compared to my last wash day, your hair got the royal treatmeant. Out of everything except local shea butter and sweet almod oil.
Shea Butter and Almond oil are a great combo!
Sorry about the shampoo. Hopefully, it didn’t affect your hair too much. Is the straightening comb hard to use?
Thankfully it didn’t affect my hair too badly. The comb was pretty easy to use. I bought it after watching a YouTube video.
