Wash day and bantu knots September 2nd 2016

Started this wash day about 10pm and went to bed about 1 am.
Steam: I sat underneath my steamer for about 20 minutes. This helped to soften my hair and start the detangling process of the twistout I had carried all week.
Co-wash: Renpure Coconut Mint Cowash Cleansing Conditioner. Please ask me why I bought this product. The product junkie in me was acting up again! I was planning to do a simple co-wash but this conditioner had no slip whatsoever and left my hair feeling hard. I had to go in with a shampoo to take the feeling away.
Shampoo: Aveda Dry Remedy Moisturizing Shampoo. Worked like magic. My hair was back to feeling soft.
I applied Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Conditioner on my hair but the softness I had experienced disappeared so I had to shampoo again! I don’t know why my hair is reacting to conditioners. Maybe it’s because of how fine my hair strands are.
Leave-ins: Shu Uemura Art of Hair Wonder Worker
Styling: I blow dried my hair and did about 7 bantu knots using Bee Mine Luscious Cream Moisturizer. It was not completely dry by the morning. Not surprising since I went to bed quite late.
I undid the knots and used a pick comb to fluff the roots and blend the lines together. The curls were defined in most areas except at the back. A little frizz but not too bad.
